Colin Ganley is a member of several British train and bus preservation societies. He has written several articles that have been published in British national and transport society magazines. Colin’s interest in George Town’s transport system stems from the period 1960-1963, whe his family lived in Singapore and visited Penang for holidays. He co-wrote Penang Trams, Trolleybuses & Railways: Municipal Transport Histroy 1880s-1963 (2006) with Ric Francis
