The excitement is building for this weekend’s George Town Literary Festival, with the launch of two more books from the ever-innovative Fixi stable. The book launch of Perjalanan (Journey) and Here Be Nightmares takes place on Sunday 30 November at 6.00pm – venue: The Twelve Cups at The Whiteaways Arcade. Regina Ibrahim’s Perjalanan is a bold first novel that tackles the subject of transgender identity with finesse and humanity. Meanwhile, Julya Oui’s Here Be Nightmares is her second collection of horror tales (having had a great story in Love in Penang – a Fixi Novo anthology).
