Kim Gooi
Kim Gooi is a freelance journalist who had covered Indochina and the region for the past three decades. He worked for major TV networks on the US, UK, Australia, Europe, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and contributing articles to the region’s newspapers. Additionally he is the stringer for Times Magazine and New York Times. In 1977, he was sentenced to six months imprisonment in Burma by the military junta however was only released one year later through the intervention of the Malaysian embassy in Rangoon, all which is incaptivated in his book.
