Fortunately rather than complain or just being resigned to her lot, as could be said by many of her British contemporaries, she had an avid curiosity as to what was happening around her and committed her observations to paper. In this book June Corpuz collects together both Ada Pryer’s short stories and articles, many of which have not been published before, to reveal insights into the complex community where she had settled.
