Warisan Nusa: Malaysian Cultural Heritage
In 1985 Ilse Noor, a renowned artist working in etching and aquatint, was commissioned to produce twenty-four etchings of some of Malaysia’s most outstanding historic buildings. These were then featured in her book Warisan Nusa, published in 1991, which included her background notes to the buildings and her experiences while visiting the sites.
This updated and expanded edition – Warisan Nusa: Malaysian Cultural Heritage – includes two new chapters about Ilse’s visits to Perlis and Pahang, with accompanying etchings, as well as expansions on the original chapters on Johor, Pahang and Terengganu.
A book to treasure.
