Salleh Ben Joned died earlier this week. There are moving tributes to him everywhere, from those who knew him better than we did – for the poet, the essayist, the teacher, the critic, the actor, the force of nature, the warm, engaging, inimitable man. He will be remembered. His work will live on as a fearless and brilliant artist. Rest in power.
